Growth Plan Presented to Manhattan City Commission

Manhattan City Commissioners received an overview of the Economic Growth Plan from Chamber President & CEO, Jason Smith, on March 25th.

Following a review of the strengths and challenges identified in the economic assessment phase of the planning process, Smith defined desirable growth, identified key performance indicators, and discussed the target sectors recommended in the plan. He also presented the “Yes, if…” instead of “No, because…” mindset shift that is advised in the plan. The presentation concluded with highlights of the plan’s strategic framework and the implementation actions that are already underway.
